I put up some of my favorite engagement and wedding portraits of 2010 a few days ago. Now it’s time for the candids.
Aside from that hour or so designated for portraits on the wedding day, I spend all my time hunting after natural and candid moments. Some call it photojournalism (and I am a member of the Wedding Photojournalist Association) but to me it’s more than just a style of shooting, it’s the core of photography. I am thrilled to consistently receive feedback surprised by how much was captured without people even realizing. That’s my goal: to discretely capture personality and emotion.
