We started the day at Mad Cap Coffee and Founder’s Brewing Company, two of my absolute favorite places in all of Michigan.

From the ceremony in a wine bar, to commissioning a piece of art created live at their reception, it was a really unique and fun wedding day.

This is Melanie and Dave. They met in Grand Rapids, they’re getting married there next summer, so that’s where we shot their engagement photos recently. We started at Founder’s Brewing, wandered around the city, and hit MadCap Coffee along the way. That’s a perfect day in my book.
