Availability:
It seems most people book their date with me about 8-10 months in advance, but anything from 18 hours to 18 months is fair game! Please contact me to inquire about your date and get our conversation started.
Travel:
I am based in the Lansing, Michigan area, but I photograph weddings frequently all over the state. I also enjoy travel and have a current passport, so please don’t hesitate to contact me about your wedding in another state or country.

Photography Style
I hope my style speaks for itself, but when asked to describe it, I would summarize it with the word “personality”. I have many goals as a photographer; to push my creativity, to make visually stunning photos, to use lighting and composition well, to dabble with quirkiness, to make people look great, and more. But above all other goals, my goal is to capture personality.
Equipment
I use top of the line Nikon cameras and lenses. A critical and often overlooked point on this topic is backup equipment. My cameras use two memory cards so that from the moment a photo is taken there is already a backup, and after the wedding photos are stored on 3 hard drives as well as online backup. On the wedding day I bring at least one backup for every important piece of equipment, and in many cases two or more.
