My name is Brett Maxwell (but you knew that by now) and I am a wedding photographer (you probably figured that out too). Here is a little more about me:

I was born and raised in California. My photography was also “born and raised” in California, which I’ve realized has influenced my style greatly.

My wife is the best. Seriously.

I moved to Michigan in ‘03 to go to a Bible college, I’m still here because CS Lewis once said, “Sacrifice almost everything to live where you can be near your friends.”

I’m on Facebook and Twitter. Hit me up on one or both.

I thought sushi was gross until I tried it, now it’s one of my favorites.

I homebrew some great beer (If they advertise during the Super Bowl, it’s not great beer).

Chips and salsa is not a snack; it’s a meal.

Michigan winters are great for the sole reason that they make you really appreciate the other three seasons.
