Hi, thanks for stopping by! My name is Brett Maxwell (but you knew that by now) and I am a wedding photographer (you probably figured that out too). I was born and raised in California, moved to Michigan in 2003, and a few years later met my wife Kelli, who I was very lucky to marry in 2008.
Sometimes I can geek out on the photography stuff, getting real technical and talking about f-stops and the inverse-square law, but those are merely the tools of photography. I am constantly honing my tools and pushing my creative boundaries, but in my mind it all serves the purpose of better communicating and remembering life.
