Kylee and Adam – Engagement Feb 23
Usually people try to schedule their engagement session during the Spring or Fall, but Kylee and Adam are different; the first time we met it was decided a snowboarding engagement session would be a lot of fun and really fit their personalities, even though there was plenty of time for a Summer or Fall shoot with great weather. Sure enough, it was fun! They were all about just hanging out and enjoying ourselves, which makes my job easy. I got some fun candids and we only stopped to really shoot for a few minutes all day.
Their wedding is coming up next month and I’m really excited. Seriously, not just saying that, I’m really excited.
In high school I used to snowboard 100 days a year. I feel really old thinking how long ago that was. Now I get in a few days when I go visit my parents, and this was actually my first time snowboarding in Michigan. We went to Nub’s Nob and I was happy to find a nicely cut 20 foot super pipe! It’s been a few years since I’ve rode a half pipe, and clearly I’m no Shaun White, but I let Kylee use my camera and she did get some proof that I can still get at least a few feet above the lip:

ok…this is rad. I have to admit that I’m a little jealous
Awesome job, I like the second photo of the couple on the lift!
awesome, fun engagement shoot! looks like a blast and not just the same old posed photos from most e-sessions that you see!
great stuff, love the one of the two of them on the chair lift. Nice style on that FS air, Brett.
